Valentine’s Day is less than two weeks away. If your loved one will be in the hospital on February 14th, why not bring in a little treat for the nurses who don’t get to spend Valentine’s evening with their loved ones? Something you may not know is that nurses cannot accept unwrapped treats. Due to health and safety reasons all treats must be individually wrapped – at least this is the rule at the Juravinski Cancer Centre. The foil wrapped chocolate hearts above are a perfect example of a suitable Valentine’s Day thank you treat. Let’s face it, nurses work very hard to get our loved ones through their cancer treatments; they deserve a little lovin’ too!
