While I can do without winter, I most certainly love fall. The crispness in the air, the colours, and a sense of
impending hibernation, which leads to renewal in the spring. I also love hunting for the perfect pumpkin and in the Hamilton-Niagara area there does not seem to be a shortage of pumpkins and agri-ecotourism opportunities. If you haven’t already, make sure you visit some farms this fall season… and hand pick your pumpkin. It’s so much nicer than buying one at the grocery store. If hayrides, fresh air and fall colours aren’t your thing, support our farmers and pick your pumpkin up at your local farmer’s market.
